A couple of months ago a thread started over at the stash and burn groupies boards on Ravelry. The thread was originally about “going cold sheep for a year” meaning, a full year of yarn dieting.
This coincided with me realising that my yarn chest (an old seaman’s chest) was unable to close due to being too stuffed with yarn. So I signed up for it. With modifications.
The all time high totals of the stash was calculated October 12th, by adding it all to Ravelry and frogging some UFO’s was 29940,2 meters (or 32742,8 yards) and that was after getting rid of some of the crap yarn I had!
Now, after 1.5 month of cold sheeping, lots of knitting, donating some yarn and generally being a good girl/cold sheeper…
Stash totals as of 14th November 27431,6 meters (29999,5 yards). A known loss of 2508,6 meters (2743,3 yards)
