Stashbusting! After actually putting 99% of my stash into ravelry I felt an extreme need to use some of it and get it out of the calculations…
Thus the sari silk rug was born
Note: project looks a lot better IRL, especially in sunlight. Unfortunately, the camera can’t capture it :/ but it actually looks good. promise.

Because the sari silk didn’t say anything about how much I had of it, I decided to make a log cabin-ish rug as it grows in all directions at the same time. It’s nice. When I run out of yarn, I’m finished.
Because the sari silk looks terrible on it’s own, like cat barf actually, I held it together with some other yarn from depth of the stash. I checked the sari silk out on ravelry and black seemed to be the thing that worked the best.
