KIP’ing
October 4th, 2007 by Cecilie | Filed under Knitting.I was knitting on my sock today while I waiting for the train to take me home after a long day, listening to a podcast and minding my own stuff.
A woman taps me on the shoulder “excuse me, the sock you are knitting, aren’t you knitting it in the wrong direction? How do you do that?”
I talked to her about it, just a little bit, at first, how I found stuff like that online.
She was so nice! And just as obsessed with knitting as me, and sooo happy when I gave her the directions to get a pattern like that!
Great!
So we talked until the train got there and both left smiling.
Stuff like that makes me want to knit in public more often
