~The Basics~
2.
Ravelry ID: Tekopp
5.
Are you willing to ship internationally? (We’ll do our best to match): Yes, in fact I would prefer it.
6.
Would you like to receive coffee, tea, or no preference?: No preference
7.
We’re assuming you’re okay sending out either coffee or tea to your swap buddy, but if you can only send one or the other please say so here.
~Yarn~
1.
What colors are you drawn to?: The really bright colors (think neon-ish) or earth tones
2.
What’s on your hook/needles right now? Two pairs of socks, a crochet mesh bag and the Thermal sweater (it only needs some sewing up)
3.
What sort of projects do you compulsively cast on?: Socks and small toys, and more socks.
4.
What kind of fibers do you like working with?: I love working with the wool/nylon blend of really nice sock yarn, but most yarns work for me.
5.
What kind of yarns do you avoid?: The really fuzzy stuff, and anything containing mohair really, since it sheds and I can’t wear it (I’m itch sensetive)
~Coffee~
1.
Do you prefer whole bean or ground coffee? Pods?: Ground.
2.
How do you brew your coffee? (Plain ol’ drip, french press, espresso shots, etc.): Mostly with my beloved moccamaster drip, but I have an old can to boil water and let it brew in there as well.
3.
Bolder? Milder?: Strong, dark coffee, like the middle-eastern style.
4.
What are you drinking right now? (Yup, the cup in your hand–that one.): Coffee, a mild and rounded blend, fair trade (In solidarity with the farmers, it says on the pack)
5.
What is your favorite roaster/blend?: Dark roasted arabic, but I’m up for trying other things.
~Tea~
1.
Do you prefer whole leaf or tea bags?: Whole leaf
2.
What kind of teas do you like? Black, green, white, herbal?: All of them, but especially green tea and rooibush. The only thing I don’t like are the english tea blends and pure green teas.
3.
What is your tea of the moment? A rooibush tea with cinnamon and orange.
4.
What is your favorite tea of all-time? (Or, at least, of recent memory.): All the different rooibush teas I’ve tried
~Mug~
1.
Describe your favorite mug: It’s fairly big (3dl), has a hank that makes it possible to hold wihtout getting burned, and a picture of the hindu god Ganesh.
2.
Does size matter?: Yes, I don’t collect the really small cups.
3.
What kind of styles do you like? (Funny office mugs, tea cups, travel tumblers, etc.) (Or, ceramic, glass, art deco, modern, quirky…): I love all of them that can hold the warmth for some time (the thin porcelain drives me insane).
~Other~
1. If there are any allergies or anything else you’d like your partner to know, please mention it here. (For example–wool/smoke/scent allergies, decaf only, anything pink will be sacrificed on a burning pyre to the yarn gods, etc.)
I’m a big fan of anything fair-trade or from indie makers. any cup would need to be washed in a machine as well.
