WIP: Embossed Leaves

The embossed leaves socks (second pic on the page) are going nicely.
Well, sort of nicely. It asks for a tubular cast-on, and since I was casting on at my parents house, there were no instructions on how to do it. So I just did the regular long-tail. Ooops. Not knitting just wasn’t an alternative at the time.

After that initial mess up, they’re flying off the needles. I started friday and will probably be done with the pair in a couple of days.
That’s how fast it’s going.img_4094.JPG img_4096.JPG

It’s fun. The only problem is that the pattern is too involved for me to be reading while knitting, and I’ve been to the library and gotten some books…
That’s a topic for another day though.

I love your version of the Embossed Leaves! I did a regular cast on as well and didn’t do the special ribbing at the top…just a plain old twisted rib. Are you knitting yours on 1′s or 2′s? Just curious. Mine look a little smaller now that there is a second repeat complete.
