I’m enjoying my knitting, a lot.
I’ve finished the hat I made for my sister (I’m probably going to write up the pattern for it when I make the exact same thing for my demanding brother), gotten over the most trying part of making the mens socks (læster) which is the casting on of the first one *yawn*.
The Faux Russian Stole is cruising along , I enjoy how the pattern is written and constructed to the extremes. I’m making it for my BF grandmother, she’s been extremely kind to us in the financial ruin we call our life. Of course, my response to this kindness is to knit something beautiful to her. A lace shawl in alpaca it is 
The pattern is the first one I knit out of A gathering of lace, and I love it (love it love it love it!).
