Batteling SSS

Trying not to get sucked into the alure of Second Sock Syndrom with these. After grafting the toes together, I left the needles bare for about… 2 seconds. And cast on the other sock. Pomatomus in action.

The tank top I posted about previously has gotten cast on, and I’m done with the bottom of the back. 25-30% done. Sounds a lot better than 75-70% left of knitting. Closeup of the easy peasy stitch pattern included.

The only real problem with this is that I’m finding that cotton blends dosen’t look as good as animal fiber in lace. Actually, I can’t think of a less forgiving yarn… except maybe wire, but that’s a real maybe.

Beading: I have off course been sucked into the whole stitchmarker frency. I’ve been using some plastic thingies not really ment to be on the needle, but placed on the knitting. It’s been working, but not great. Therefore, I present you with

The beading set!

Some of the wires and things like that are not in the picture.

(Hopefully) Coming up on Tekopp.net: Finished socks. Tank top modelling. And a list of patterns going to be knit (a few will be crochet as well)
