today is the day. yes, it’s one of those days.
I’ve been together with mr.man (also known as Otto) for 6 months.
It’s been a slow day, doing nothing, not realy, speaking to few people, and knitting just a few rounds on Clapotis and Jaywalker.
It’s been a good day, cuddle and relax, no stress, nothing to worry about, just being.
Lately I’ve been reading this realy cool blog called Nerd Knits. I want to make my blog like her, I want to be able to knit like her…
So my knitting ego was down the drain today (and well, has been since I finished FBS). What did I do then? I put on Nordlandskofta I made this summer, since it is cold, and I like to wear it. And when looking at the strangly complicated pattern and all the fair isle work… It hit me, the simple little fact that I really am a good knitter.
Despite having to frog Clapotis the other day and start over again. I do have skills. actually it wasn’t just the fact that I had to frog Clapotis that made me down, it was why… I did a yarn-over after a marker then k and ktbl. The stich would not drop more than 5-6cm. Argh?
