For being silly enough to make a flower basket shawl 3 times as big as the pattern called for and in Mohair(!) damnit

Flower Basket Shawl:
I have finished, I have blocked, I have woven in ends and the flame dosen’t go out  untill tomorrow.

I am so proud, because this project is gorgeus now. The blocking prosses  of soaking it was another of my challanges (that and not put fire to it from sheer boredom as I was at 15 repeats at the end). It turns out that when you soak mohair, it smells strongly of wet goat. Strongly(!) The room where it was blocked  had to be aired for a long time  afterwards

I swear that I’m not going to curse at lace again for a long time now…

I’m working and feel like I’m going to curl up and die from boredom on the Flower Basket. Yes, It’s pretty enough, my mother is going to love it, and I will wait a long time before I do lace again. I can’t wait till I get it blocked.

When in Oslo, when taking the train, when seeing people, when doing regular things, going to work, and all of that. There is no space that’s empty, the walls are covered, in posters and ads for things. But for once, I actually thougth them ok.
